The day I got my new Omnipod (mid-2014) I took a picture of it all set up with the box of pods. I was so impressed by the box. (Take a look at the top of it between all the fruit, at the white blob. That's a pod there. It's pretty well blended in there, but I promise, it's a pod!). I am continually trying to analyze it...A pump delivers insulin; more or less the opposite of sugar. So why put a picture of a pod between a bunch of fruit?! It is an ironic way to show its size...What does it mean?!

Again, I took these pictures the day I got my new Omnipod. The pod on the left is one of the old pods; the one on the right is one of the new ones. Similarly, in the lower photo, the top pod is the new pod and the bottom pod is the old version. It may be hard to tell from these photos, but the new pod is much smaller, in area and in thickness, than the old pods. The few pod users I've actually met with face to face had complained every time we met up about how Omnipod was continually saying they'd come out with a smaller, better pod. Well, they finally did it. Now....when can it be smaller and better?.... :)
